acting worskshop
signed up for this stage acting workshop which ended on sat...it was actually pretty fun...did crazy things that the even the craziest teachers wld nvr think of doing in a class room... =)
lets see...dunno how med managed to get to contact but she managed to get the director from in-source theatre and her disciple to come down to conduct the workshop...
over the span of 2 days and 6 hrs later...we are taught how to project our voices, act out our emotions, and what we want to present to the audience.
we are also taught how to look at a dailogue from different angles, diff prespective...
at the end of the lesson, each group of about 4-5 are given a one line dailogue each and we are suppose to put the dailogues together and act out a little sketch...
when we piece the dailogues together they dun make much sense cos each dailogue is individual....so it was pretty challenging...but it was fun...i got to be the director...piece the sentences and direct the actions for the sketch...it turned out pretty well...hee...funky
so apparently in-source theatre is affiliated or linked...whichever is more appropriate, to fun stage...and they have auditions...think i'll go for it...for the fun and for the experience =)
maybe i'll do a monologue...hmmm....
